Description: On the 29th of January, 2007, at lunch time some hundreds of people received the call from MCI Management SA. investment fund President, Tomasz Czechowicz, who thus “personally” invited entrepreneurs, consultants and investors to participate in upcoming conference - ‘TMT Ventures’. The method of promoting the event elaborated by 3Way using our own PhoneCall platform designed for voice mailing proved to be appropriately chosen for the business-type of the product and at the same time it launched the “heard it through the grapevine” marketing campaign in that environment.
Target group: The voice mail popularizing ‘TMT Ventures’ was aimed at almost 450 people interested in participating in the conference. The base of recipients was mostly the representatives of technological companies that had participated before in ‘TMT Executive Seminar’ meetings.
Communication channels: Until then TMT Executive Seminar events had been advertised using traditional channels, i.e.: leaflets, e-mailing, banners. We convinced the organizer of the conference to try out the new innovative form of reaching the recipients via PhoneCall platform of our own elaboration, designed for voice mailing. Voice Mailing communication consists in automatic distribution of “recordings” in the form of telephone connections. While broadcasting this type of publicity it is also possible to interact with the recipient, e.g. obtaining a direct confirmation of his presence during the event. Using this way we can communicate a large number of mobile phones within a short period of time. The efficiency of telephone connections amounted to 86%. Over a half of the recipients listened to a part of MCI President's statement, over 30% listened the to the complete message that presented the details of the conference such as the cost of participation, methods of registration – all recorded by a professional reader. The voice message was also reinforced with an SMS emitted automatically 30 minutes after listening to the voice mail
